| On January 15th, Sandew Hira, secretary of the DIN Foundation, presented his book Decolonizing The Mind – a guide to decolonial theory and practice. The book was sold out in two weeks. That is why readers in the USA could not get books. There is second run. Hopefully readers in the USA will be able to get a copy in three to four months. Read more. |

| In the month of February there are a couple of events around the book Decolonizing The Mind. On February 6 the Center for Asian and Middle Eastern Studies in the UK organizes a Zoom meeting with Sandew Hira. On February 8th the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands organizes a lecture by Hira on the question: Is knowledge production in The West inherently colonial? On February 15th the University of Windesheim in Zwolle, the Netherlands, organizes a seminar titled “How colonialism f*cked up the climate” with Sandew Hira as the keynote speaker. |
